BIRTHDAY PARTIES FOR CHILDREN 5 YEARS +
INTRODUCTION
Levy LaRocque Studio is a personal, relaxing and fun environment to host your child’s birthday party. Kids experience life as an artist at “One Cottage Street” a well known 19th century mill building and artist space. Teacher and mother, Marcia LaRocque, shares her 25+ years ceramic experience with kids of all ages, instructing and supporting group projects according to age and skill level. Each child will plan a design first on paper, then begin building a mosaic object using Marcia's hand painted broken up tile and a simple form. As the final touch, each child mixes & applies grout to the finished product. Much satisfaction amongst participants is witnessed as masterpieces unfold. And it's all for keeps. No goody bags required!
WHY LEVY LAROCQUE?
Kids thoroughly enjoy this kind of hands on creative activity. They become still and focused during the process which requires a certain amount of concentration. At pick up time, one parent thought they had the wrong location because the studio was so quiet.
It is possible that fun and joy in learning be achieved peacefully!
Levy LaRocque Studio offers unique objects on which to build a mosaic.
Projects are selected based on the best fit for the birthday child’s age & his/her ability.
The mosaic projects rotate and may include: a hotplate, picture frame, mirror or flower pot. Additional options are available at extra cost. Please inquire.
SCHEDULING AND COST

LEVY LAROCQUE STUDIO PARTIES are 2 hours and can be scheduled
Monday-Friday, as well as mornings and afternoons on weekends.
Participation is limited to a maximum of 8 children.
Cost is $140 and includes hands on instruction and all raw materials for mosaic projects. Water, paper products and utensils are provided at the studio.
Parents may choose to bring a birthday cake & candles. Sorry, no freezer.
Birthday cake and gifts are scheduled for the beginning or before the end of the party, depending on the time frame.
A non-refundable $25 deposit holds your space.

TOO MANY KIDS ON YOUR GUEST LIST?
Marcia will bring Levy LaRocque Studio to you!
Workshops are 1 1/2 hours and include the same instruction and raw materials as the Studio Parties. An easily cleaned, large enough area for all guests to be seated during the workshop is required.
Cost is $165, plus $8 per additional guest over #10.
A non-refundable $35 deposit holds your space.
ADDITIONAL
Parents may deliver & pick up their child at Levy LaRocque Studio.
Mosaic instruction begins promptly on the hour. Please make sure all parents
are informed & have their child ready to begin on time. Remind guests to wear suitable studio clothing as some of us do get messy.

DIRECTIONS:
From Union Street in Easthampton, turn onto Liberty Street (7-Eleven store at corner). Turn RIGHT into parking area at bottom of the hill (brick garages on RIGHT).
Continue straight. Drive over bridge. Park in lot closest to bridge.
Walk back over bridge and locate gray door “C” facing stream.
Door will be propped open slightly. Its usually locked after 3 PM weekdays and on weekends. Head up “C” staircase. Levy LaRocque Studio is Room 441, 3 flights up. Please inform in advance if an elevator is required.
